Whether you’re planning a small meeting at the office or a workshop, the chances that you’re already searching for a way to do so online are high.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought even more adoption to online-only events, the adoption rate over the years hasn’t been negligible. For example, the global webinar market size is on target to rise to $800 million in 2023 from $500 million in 2013.
If you’re planning on running your event(s) online, here are some free tools you can use to help make the process smoother.
Canva
You can use Canva to create posters for your online event, free of charge. There are already several free templates created for event posters.
Zoom
The popular video-conferencing tool, Zoom, can be used for a wide range of online/virtual events. Webinars, lectures, and meetings are some of its most popular use cases. Find a video guide on how to use Zoom below.
While most commonly used for personal messaging, WhatsApp can be used to run recurring virtual events. A use case, for example, will be a catering class that would run for a particular time frame such as 1 month.
You can create a WhatsApp group to run this while being able to provide feedback instantly. This also opens you up to people who are unable to afford data subscription needed to stream video content.
A downside to this, however, is that organizing comments might be a bit of a hassle unless you create two groups, one that is read-only for attendees, and the other where they can post questions.
Eventbrite
Whether your (online) event is free or paid, you need a (ticketing) platform where you can confirm attendees’ registration, get analytics, receive payments (for paid events), and more. Ticketing sites such as Eventbrite simplify the entire ticketing process for you.
Planning an event doesn’t have to be stressful. With Planit Pro, we handle things for you so you can sit back, relax and have a hitch-free event.
